It was a very warm Veterans day and our hives were out taking advantage of the nice weather. Here are some shots of them clustering on the winter-wrappings. Not sure if I should bee hoping for a mild winter or not. We need a quiet cluster to get through the winter, and this warm weather certainly isn’t helping. It’s all up to nature now.
The original hive was definitely the most busy of the three. Not sure if this is just time of day or what (Typically the one of the other hives is more active, but this one tends to start up later due to sun/shade… then again we don’t have any trees to shade any more so I really don’t know if we can conclude anything here. )
